Gentlemen, Start Your Engines ...

Okay. I'm finally starting my travel blog. For the past few years I've tried to spend my free time seeing new places, trying new restaurants, visiting new attractions and otherwise enjoying every minute of my free time. Since my divorce about four years ago, I found myself with more free time than I really wanted as a mom, to be honest. And I found that, for me, staying home was not the fix. I don't toll paint, decorate or like to spend my time on projects. I like to see things. So that's what I've done.

So fast forward. I can't remember all of the details of my trips so I'm starting with a list. Just of the big places I can remember off hand. I'll just have to get better going forward. Here goes:

• San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, SLC, San Antonio, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City and back. whew. There was a lot of back and forth.
• Corpus Christie in a big rental RV
• Houston, Texas
• Santa Fe, NM
• Roswell, NM
• Disneyworld, Orlando, Florida (with the kiddos)
• Washington, D.C., for the Cherry Blossom Festival
• Las Vegas (for work)
• Maui, Hawaii (for work)
• Newport Beach, Oregon
• Boise, Idaho
• Jackson Hole, Wyoming

I've really been so many great places, and it's quite lame of me to have not written about this stuff sooner. Next trip ... Brazil via Blackfoot, Idaho.
